Our Client:
This dynamic international organization is one of the world's most successful online gaming entertainment companies. They are currently seeking a Chinese Country Manager to drive their Chinese business on to greater success.
The Role:
The successful candidate will have complete control and responsibility for the overall P&L together with strategy, budget planning and development of on and offline marketing including affiliates, partnerships and SEO. You will need to be a creative thinker, entrepreneurial and results focused with experience of media buying, running creative campaigns and leveraging maximum value from existing databases. This is a crucial role within the business and a real opportunity to develop your career in this expanding and progressive company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent the company in China
• Liaise with central management for planning and successful execution of promotions and marketing campaigns within the territory
• Develop and manage channels, including partners/affiliates and local events
• Undertake creative marketing campaigns.
• Acquisition of new customers and development of business
• Handle/support local PR activities
• Handle/support contacts with local agencies, media, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications & Skills:
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Chinese legislation as relating to gaming required
• Native to Chinese
• Professional marketing qualification – desirable
• 3+ years specific sales and marketing experience in an online environment
• Self-motivated and target-oriented
• An understanding of the online gaming environment preferred
